Legend of the Void 2 – Beta 2 Release

After much sickness (and much work) Legend of the Void 2 Beta 2 is ready! Here is a detailed list of things included in this release:

  • Saving/loading characters
  • Character creator
  • Class selection
  • Sound effects
  • 3 of 5 music tracks
  • Introduction story
  • Map art and effects
  • “Interaction objects”
  • The Hexopus!
  • Improved inventory sorting
  • Male/female & skin colors
  • New dialogue system
  • Quests
  • Shops
  • Fast-traveling (Ruins)
  • Map system
  • Party system

And probably a lot more! Sorry it took so long to get out, I just kept finding new things to add/fix and I wanted this release to be as sexy as possible :)

Head on over to the Legend of the Void forums and sign up for beta testing if you haven’t yet. I’m probably going to go add 20 or so new testers at random (and a few according to their forum participation) so there’s a 1/5 chance you could be one now! And I’ll be adding more testers in the future with beta 3/4/5… So get on the forum and participate!

    i have been waiting for soooooooo long,plz,there will always be new thiings to add

    that is why there is legend of the void 3,4,5 etc.

    i really enjoyed the first one i just played it and beat it.i would very much like to test it beta thats only because the first one is so well made.i love and am very interested in these kind of games and if you need help brainstorming i would be happy to help i am rather intelligent you know(not to brag about it).

    hi, i am sorry for being harsh in my previous comments but i believe that this game will be legendary!!!

    i know that minecraft took 2 years beta, hopefully this will not take that much.

    plz man, i have been folowing progress of this game since the beginning.

    hurry!!!! i have lots of faith in the epicness of this game.

    i`m glad to see such enthusiasm:D i played the the first chapter very soon after it`s release and i`ve kept visiting this site since you announced working on the second chapter.

    Would love to see some in-game screen shots of the new thing :D

    COME ON MAN!!!!! FINISH THE GAME ALREADY, I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE THE FIRST ONE CAME OUT!!!! I AM STARTING TO CONSIDER ABANDONING (sorry i dont know how to spell it) THE SEARCH AND THE WAIT FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
